In Crisis?

If you feel you cannot keep yourself safe or have a plan to self-harm (hurt yourself) or take your own life and are going to act on it, TELL someone straight away.

In Crisis?

TELL someone straight away, ideally a trusted adult, this might be a parent/carer, family member, support worker, teacher, youth worker etc . If possible, ask the person you tell to stay with you until you can get help and advice.

You or your trusted adult can contact Wakefield CAMHS (Children and Adolescent Mental Health Service) 01924 316200 or the REACH team – 01977 735865  if it’s after 5pm. You or your trusted adult can also speak with your GP or take you to A&E or ring 999 if you need urgent help or medical attention.

See the bottom of this page for services that can support you.
